Ahead of its launch on 6 August, I had the opportunity to preview the collection, and whilst every piece deserves attention, one thing became immediately clear. This isn’t about trend led dressing, it’s about building the kind of wardrobe you’ll rely on season after season.
Founded by Christine Centenera and Josh Goot, WARDROBE.NYC has built its reputation on creating impeccably cut wardrobe foundations that work together effortlessly. The proportions are spot on. The dropped shoulders create that effortless oversized silhouette fashion lovers are constantly trying to recreate, whilst the shape ensures it never feels overwhelming. I tried on the small for reference, and it delivered exactly the oversized fit you’d hope for, so there’s really no need to size up unless you prefer an exaggerated look.
