A Romantic Getaway
With a story behind every door, the walls of Home House harbour secrets of excess and indulgence, providing the ideal setting for an exceptional staycation. Named after the house’s intriguing guests, including Earl (Charles) Grey and Anthony Blunt, each of the characterful and luxurious bedrooms is utterly unique and has its own tantalising story to tell.
The deep red marble in Lady Islington’s bathroom on the second floor of the House comes from the same stone used in the floor beneath the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral. The bath in the Duke of Atholl’s suite on the third floor was made for His Highness Say Aji Rao III, Maharajah Gaekwad of Baroda (1863–1939). The exotic walls of Patricia Portman’s suite are decorated with original Chinese Chi’en Lung paper, hand-painted in vibrant shades of indigo and coral.
During their stay, bedroom guests have access to the club’s outstanding facilities, including its restaurants, bars, the Winter Garden—available for private hire—a Winter Garden Lounge, cigar lounge, boardroom, gym, and a thriving calendar of exclusive members’ events.
Member rates start at £325, with non-member rates from £455 per night for a Club Room. Reservations can be made by email at [email protected].
