Monaco Grand Prix – Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo
The F1 Grand Prix of Monaco, which began in 1929, is one of the oldest and most prestigious automobile races in the Principality of Monaco. Today, the Grand Prix is one of the major events in the Principality’s calendar, and a key race in the F1 World Championship, which happens to be the slowest and most technique-focused race of the championship.
Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo offers visitors the chance to be at the heart of the Grand Prix action, with stunning views of the circuit that include a direct look at the race’s most dangerous bend from the hotel’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac. It is also possible to see this bend from one of the hotel’s signature suites, the Suite Azur, and the newly renovated event space, Salon Méditerranée.
With the Monaco Grand Prix fast approaching from May 24 – 26, the hotel has recently announced a new ‘Just For You’ experience, exclusive to guests staying at the hotel. The activity, entitled ‘Drive Through Time’, is a rare opportunity for car enthusiasts to experience the remarkable collection of more than 100 vehicles curated by Prince Albert II and his father, Prince Rainier III.
Guests will be able to explore the collection, which includes Formula 1 cars as well as iconic models such as the Chrysler Imperial and the Rolls Phantom, while it is closed to the public. The tour is led by a dedicated guide, who will share captivating stories and open up certain cars to reveal never-before-seen details, offering a unique perspective into the history of Monaco and its connection to F1.
‘Drive Through Time’ starts from 950 euros for two adults and 100 euros per child under 12 years old.
