Ten years ago, The Little Door & Co started their legendary house parties, and now they’re bringing the excitement to Carnaby with The Little Violet Door. Get ready for kitchen discos, late-night cocktails, and loads of good vibes.
The Little Violet Door delivers an authentic house party experience – laid-back and oh-so-chill. Enjoy cocktails on the sofa, dance in the living room, or play games with friends. Following in the footsteps of Soho’s The Little Scarlet Door and other favourites like The Little Yellow Door (Notting Hill), The Little Blue Door (Fulham), and The Little Orange Door (Clapham), it’s all about reinventing the house party vibe.
Set in the former Bag O’Nails, where icons like Elton John and Paul McCartney once hung out, this two-story flat captures Carnaby’s rich history and lively spirit, with decor inspired by the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Walk through the vibrant Violet door to explore a labyrinth of rooms. The kitchen is the heart of the home – where the disco magic happens. DJs spin tracks from the kitchen island Wednesday to Saturday so bring your dancing shoes and act like nobody’s watching.
There’s plenty of chill space too, from the outdoor terrace to the cosy sitting room with a vinyl bar, plush velvet seats, and a fireplace. For secrets and selfies, head to the bathroom with a tub and robes. Content? Check.
Downstairs, the games room features everything from What Do You Meme to Mario Kart. The spacious living room, overlooking the kitchen disco, has comfy sofas, vibrant artwork, and coffee table books. Every detail is perfect, from door keys and shoes at the entrance to framed photos of friends and family.
Cocktails are served in quirky containers like teacups and milk bottles, inspired by the flat’s DVD collection. Try La La Land (vodka, raspberries, Martini Rosso, and Mozart White & Vanilla) or Kill Bill Volume 2 (Remy Martin VSOP Brandy, Bacardi Negra, Toti Dark Rums, ginger syrup, and Camden Pale Ale).
Party food includes nuts, crisps, olives, dips, panko-fried chicken, tacos, pulled brisket croquettes, and burgers. For daytime fun, enjoy bottomless brunch every weekend starting in July with dishes like shakshuka, bagels, avocado on toast, and granola smoothie bowls.
Want to host your own party? The entire flat or selected rooms are available for private hire – the perfect contemporary house party setting, without the cleanup.
Genius.
