On April 3, the maiden voyage of the groundbreaking Pershing GTX80 set sail from the port of Fano, heralding a new era of exhilaration, control, and dominance on the water. This yacht embodies the sporty essence and lavish living spaces characteristic of the Pershing GTX range.
Spanning approximately 24 meters in length and 5.80 meters in beam, the Pershing GTX80 is the remarkable outcome of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, spearheaded by Piero Ferrari, the renowned design studio Vallicelli Design, and the Group’s Engineering Department.
Seamlessly intertwining interiors and exteriors, this model introduces a novel level of comfort and spatial coherence. With two decks and a sportbridge, it accommodates up to eight guests with its innovative four-cabin layout, complemented by a crew cabin with two beds.
The exterior styling, in iconic Pershing grey, showcases innovative design choices, such as the absence of stanchions, accentuating the near-vertical bow and the continuous, subtly curved sheer-line. Notably, the bulwarks feature a pioneering design, integrating winches and converting into lateral terraces that enhance the connection with the water—a first for Pershing models.
A standout feature is the versatile stern platform, offering three configurations, from standard to fully extended, seamlessly integrating with the aft living space and facilitating tender launching.
The main deck exudes a bright, airy ambiance, with extensive glazing and fluid, interconnected spaces. The helm station, equipped with three 24-inch screens, transitions seamlessly into a living area, dining space, and fully integrated galley/bar, accentuated by innovative design elements like metallic silver lacquered ceilings with diagonal LED lights.
The sundeck, boasting a generous 23 square meters of space, is significantly larger than the category average, further enhanced by the sleek arch-shaped deckhouse and carbon fiber hard-top for optimal performance and aesthetics.
Powered by three 1,000 mhp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1350 engines, the Pershing GTX80 achieves impressive speeds, with a top speed of 34 knots (preliminary data) and a cruising speed of 28 knots.
