Soho has always been abuzz with revellers looking to have a good time. Regardless of its infamous reputation as the sex district, once gentrified, Soho has since been one of the biggest hotspots in London. This is especially so at 100 Wardour Street, where it used to be home to the legendary Marquee Club, hosting iconic music acts such as David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and The Sex Pistols, before closing its doors in 1988.
Going back to its glory days, 100 Wardour Street continues to entertain with live music six days a week. The atmosphere is that of a member’s club, split into a relaxed lounge, beautiful club and cosy playroom, all designed by Russell Sage Studio; think The Hospital Club, The Savoy and The Zetter Townhouse. The perfect place to enjoy a cocktail or two.
