This multi-course experience is a journey through SUSHISAMBA’s favourite dishes, carefully crafted to captivate the senses. For vegetarians, the menu begins with the delicate zest of edamame seasoned with sea salt and lime, followed by the crisp allure of plantain chips infused with aji amarillo.
As you progress, enjoy the complex flavours of crispy vegetable taquitos—a delightful medley of avocado, radish, red onion, peppers, and pickled shimeji mushrooms—and the subtle, earthy taste of heritage beets paired with cloud-like whipped tofu and a hint of dried miso. The experience continues with robata-grilled asparagus finished with sesame and sweet soy, and a refreshing samba salad combining spinach, grilled kabocha, honey truffle ponzu, and a vibrant mix of shavings from heritage carrot, radish, apple, and a vibrant mango dressing.
The culinary adventure continues with veggie maki, a creative roll blending shibazuke, cucumber, avocado, sesame, sweet gourd, spring onion, and tempura flakes, complemented by a chef-selected assortment of nigiri. A standout moment comes with the mushroom tobanyaki, where assorted mushrooms meet a perfectly poached egg, enhanced by yuzu soy and garlic chips, and continues with the robust flavours of robata-grilled eggplant glazed with savoury mustard miso. The meal is rounded off with the luxurious aroma of SUSHISAMBA’s signature black truffle rice and a sweet finale of assorted mochi – soft Japanese rice cakes filled with ice cream and white chocolate ganache. The Taste of Samba menu is a glorious vegetarian feast, priced at £70 per person (with a minimum of two guests).

To further ignite the Carnaval spirit, SUSHISAMBA presents a limited-edition Taste of Carnaval menu available from Friday, 28 February to Saturday, 8 March. This multi-course selection of Brazilian-inspired dishes features the irresistible Pão de Queijo served with truffle butter, and the intriguing Bolinho de Bacalhau, where black cod doughnuts are paired with squid ink aioli. The menu also boasts the hearty Churrasco Ribeye with feijoada, the inventive Bossa Nova Roll that includes crispy soft-shell crab, seared wagyu, and chestnuts, and the delicately prepared Banana Leaf-Baked Sea Bass. For dessert, delight in the decadence of Brazilian Chocolate Mousse, complemented by pink peppercorn sponge cake and orange ice cream.
