Sonia Constant: It is always an honor to work on Narciso Rodriguez fragrances. I have the good fortune of working with brands like Narciso Rodriguez that really speak to me—designers who celebrate women, rather than seeking to transform them. We speak the same language. With this new creation, I had to imagine a fragrance that would push the notion of addiction and sensuality. That kind of challenge is what feeds my creativity.

“What was the brief and starting point for for her Eau de Parfum Intense?”
Sonia Constant: The brief was to create a more intense and modern variation of for her, emphasizing sensuality. We started with the heart of musc and expanded its chypre signature by modernizing it through a moss accord and enhancing its depth with passion, strength, and sensuality.

Sonia Constant: Force. Passion. Sensuality.

Sonia Constant: The fragrance opens with a rich and sensual blend of peach and cinnamon, creating an immediate sense of intensity. Sonia Constant: Musc is a defining element of the for her collection. In this new interpretation, I wanted to amplify its addictive and sensual nature. Using Scent Trek™ headspace technology, I captured the trail of the original for herfragrance hours after application, then worked on intensifying its sensual and oriental facets with fruity and spicy notes.

Sonia Constant: Musc is naturally addictive as it blends seamlessly with the skin. I heightened this quality by incorporating vanilla and an accord of solar white flowers, enhancing the fragrance’s enveloping warmth and sensuality.

Sonia Constant: We used the Carto™ tool, an innovative digital system that enhances the perfumer’s creative process by suggesting unique ingredient pairings. Carto™ is particularly useful when building upon an existing fragrance, as it helps redefine key notes while maintaining the essence of the original.
“How was headspace technology involved in the creation of the fragrance?”
Sonia Constant: Scent Trek™ headspace technology allowed us to capture the true essence of natural elements without harming them. We used this to capture the scent of the red spider lily, a rare Japanese flower with a bright, lemony fragrance. This added a refreshing and invigorating quality to for her Eau de Parfum Intense.

“The fragrance contains two ingredients created with biotechnology—Ambrofix™ and Vanillin Ex Rice. Can you explain their role?”
