One of the most unique and elegant restaurants in Paris, Le Dalí is an ode to revolutionary artist Salvador Dalí. Located in the iconic Le Meurice hotel, this cosy hideaway was designed by Philippe Starck who worked his magic on Le Dalí’s signature interiors.
Salvador Dalí’s distinctive energy can be felt throughout and has been orchestrated by Starck who was inspired by Salvador Dalí’s love of quirky design and distorting reality. At the heart of the restaurant is a majestic canvas which was designed by Philippe Starck’s daughter Ara Starck, it hangs elegantly under the glass dome of Le Dalí.
The restaurant is a celebration of local, seasonal French cuisine with a farm-to-fork philosophy at heart. Over 95% of the ingredients used at Le Dalí are sourced from local suppliers who nurture their produce with tenderness, care and a passion for authenticity. Start with delicate sliced beef, kohlrabi and red berries or grand roux sweetcorn galette with quail egg and oxalis. Follow with a magnificent whole wild sea bass with purslane salad and lemon balm or roasted côte de bœuf with paillasson potatoes and a decadent béarnaise. Whether you would like a double espresso at breakfast, a lavish weekend brunch or a romantic dinner for two, there is nowhere more spectacular to dine than at Le Dalí.
