Despite global and political uncertainties, Heesen Yachts is gearing up for a strong 2025. With 11 yachts currently under construction and deliveries planned through 2027, the Dutch superyacht builder continues to set industry benchmarks. Five key deliveries are scheduled for 2025, including the 55m Solemates, the 55m Serena, the 50m Orion, the 55m Agnetha, and the 55m Frida.
This forward momentum builds upon a record-breaking 2024, during which Heesen sold three yachts and achieved significant revenue growth. The company’s steadfast commitment to innovation and bespoke craftsmanship ensures it remains a leader in the superyacht sector, catering to the ever-evolving demands of the ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) community.
New Leadership at the Helm In September 2024, Ruud van der Stroom was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Speaking about his new role, Ruud stated: “This transition marks a significant milestone in my career. My passion for yachting has been a lifelong pursuit, and joining such a prestigious shipyard feels like the perfect culmination of that journey. I am thrilled to be part of Heesen’s strong brand and dedicated team. I am confident that we will make a meaningful impact in the industry, and I look forward to seeing the continued success of the shipyard throughout 2025.”
