Perched high above the vibrant streets of London, Sabine is a charming rooftop bar that provides an enchanting escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. With breathtaking, unobstructed views of St. Paul’s Cathedral, this spot promises an unforgettable experience.
Named after the striking bird which travels the world as the seasons change Sabine pays homage to the birds shifting migration patterns by offering something for all weather, seasons or mood. The bar features two beautifully designed terraces, each offering its own unique perspective of the iconic London skyline. With a heated outdoor terrace and glass roof we were fortunate to be seated with a perfect view of St. Paul’s, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning surroundings.
Surrounded by lush greenery and abundant botanical décor, the ambiance was vibrant and inviting, setting the tone beautifully for what we were about to experience. It created an idyllic backdrop to savour their new winter menu.
Sabine’s new winter menu is perfect for sharing, offering a flavourful adventure through a variety of dishes. We decided to sample a bit of everything, choosing from their delicious small plates, sides, skewers and even their sharing platter.
Highlights included their Harissa Spiced Chicken, Tandoori Prawns, and Crisp Potatoes, all bursting with incredible flavour that leave you wanting more. We also enjoyed the BBQ Jack Fruit Tostadas and the Mezze Platter, which featured delights like falafel, vegan feta, hummus, olives and flatbread. The menu is impressively allergen-friendly, with clear guidance on gluten free and vegan options, ensuring everyone can find something to savour.
Sabine’s signature cocktail selection is also a creative delight. My guest and I had fun exploring the options and chose the Breakfast Sour (a delicious tequila-based drink), while I opted for the classic Margarita. With over 25 different cocktails on the menu, there’s something for everyone to love.
We ended our lunch on a sweet note, sharing the Mulled Wine & Winter Berry mess—a perfectly indulgent vegan dessert to wrap up our meal. Sabine’s beautiful surroundings and extensive offerings make it a must-visit spot.
