In the heart of Mayfair, Mazarine has quickly established itself as one of London’s most elegant French restaurants. Bringing the effortless glamour of the Côte d’Azur to the capital, Mazarine Mayfair combines classic French culinary techniques with the finest British ingredients, creating a dining experience that feels both timeless and contemporary. From beautifully designed interiors to polished, attentive service, every detail reflects the sophistication of a traditional Riviera brasserie while embracing the energy of London’s luxury dining scene.
During our visit to Mazarine Mayfair, the menu celebrated refined French cuisine through exceptional seasonal produce and meticulous execution. Every course demonstrated the restaurant’s commitment to quality, balancing rich flavours with the restraint and elegance that define classic French cooking.

The experience began with a selection of beautifully crafted hors d’oeuvres that immediately showcased the kitchen’s attention to detail. The Croque Mazarine à la Truffe paired golden toasted brioche with rich truffle and succulent lobster, creating a luxurious opening that was indulgent without ever feeling heavy. Alongside it, the Brioche au Caviar d’Aquitaine celebrated simplicity at its finest, allowing buttery brioche and delicate French caviar to complement one another beautifully. A serving of Olives Marinées Maison completed the opening selection, introducing a vibrant Mediterranean touch that perfectly reflected the restaurant’s French Riviera inspiration.
Seafood remained a highlight throughout the meal. The Crevettes Tièdes were cooked with precision, retaining their natural sweetness while delicate seasoning enhanced rather than overpowered the shellfish. Equally memorable was the Cornish Crab Linguine, where perfectly cooked pasta was enveloped in a beautifully balanced sauce that allowed the sweetness of the fresh Cornish crab to remain the focal point. It was an accomplished dish that demonstrated confidence, restraint and an unwavering respect for exceptional ingredients.

For the main course, the Matured Fillet of Beef showcased classical French cooking at its finest. Expertly prepared and served with a deeply flavoured red wine jus, the beef was wonderfully tender, richly flavoured and beautifully executed, perfectly embodying Mazarine’s refined yet approachable philosophy.
Dessert provided an equally memorable conclusion. Le Russe Biarritz offered an irresistible combination of hazelnut and chocolate that evoked the familiar flavours of a Ferrero Rocher while remaining thoroughly elegant. Alongside it, the Profiteroles des Anges featured feather-light choux pastry filled with silky cream beneath a generous coating of warm chocolate, delivering a timeless French dessert executed with exceptional finesse.

Mazarine succeeds in bringing the relaxed elegance of the French Riviera to the heart of Mayfair. Combining beautifully executed French cuisine, premium British produce, impeccable hospitality and an atmosphere of understated luxury, Mazarine Mayfair has firmly established itself as one of the best French restaurants in Mayfair and a standout destination for fine dining in London.
