Located on the picturesque Isle of Wight, just a stone’s throw away from the mainland, the popular beachfront restaurant is easy to get to from London. We travelled by train from Waterloo to Lymington and then were picked up by Gary and Dell, our private charter from Bournemouth Boat Trips and taken across to The Hut, but if you wish you can arrive by sea or air to this idyllic beach front location.
This exclusive and highly popular beach restaurant offers a unique dining experience emphasising fresh and locally sourced ingredients making it a favourite spot for seafood lovers. The ambience is casual yet refined allowing you to enjoy a relaxed meal while soaking in the coastal scenery.
The menu is a celebration of the Isle of Wights’ culinary heritage, with a touch of Asian influence. Seafood takes centre stage with dishes featuring the freshest catches from local waters, from Scallops and Oysters (which were so incredible and a must try) to grilled local fish to succulent seafood and surf & turf platters but don’t worry If your not a seafood fan then there are meat and vegetarian options also ensuring there is something for everyone.
In addition to the delicious food, the hut is renowned for its extensive drinks menu with a fantastic selection of curated wines, great craft beers and its infamous cocktails.
