The first unit of the Ferretti Yachts INFYNITO 80, set to make its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, was launched in July at Ferretti Group’s new production site in Ravenna. This shipyard, acquired in March 2023, will be fully operational by 2025, housing five production lines for the Ferretti Yachts and Wally brands, supported by a workforce of 200.
The INFYNITO 80, joining its sister model INFYNITO 90, epitomises the range’s core qualities: environmental friendliness, unparalleled flexibility, and innovative layouts. A standout feature is the All-Season Terrace, an architectural marvel that has won numerous prestigious awards. This vessel boasts visual continuity between interiors and exteriors, with innovative layouts and exceptional versatility. It also features an above-average amount of covered outdoor space, providing both protection and expansive views.
Measuring 23.70 metres (77ft 9in) in length overall with a maximum beam of 6.32 meters (20ft 9in), the INFYNITO 80 is the result of a collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior design is by architect Filippo Salvetti, while Ideaitalia crafted the interiors. This yacht also incorporates Ferretti’s Sustainable Enhanced Architecture (F.S.E.A.), a suite of environmentally friendly solutions. These include a fast displacement hull designed for fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact, green materials like natural fabrics and recyclable components, and solar energy storage from photovoltaic panels on the hard top and the All-Season Terrace roof.
The design ethos of the INFYNITO 80 is Contemporary, inspired by the fresh, vibrant colours of the sea. Unlike the INFYNITO 90’s upper deck, this unit features an entirely open sundeck, with a hard-top shading the dining area and helm station. The stern area, dedicated to sunbathing, is equipped with freestanding sun loungers.
The main deck is designed for luxury and comfort, featuring a salon with twin face-to-face sofas and a ceiling-mounted TV. The forward section houses the galley, which includes a recessed electric window opening onto the All-Season Terrace. This terrace, sheltered by the superstructure, offers a private, shaded area with a dinette or bar and a generous sofa.
The lower deck accommodates four guest cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom, comfortably sleeping eight guests. The crew area, accessed privately from the port-side walkway, includes two separate cabins for three crew members.
The first INFYNITO 80 unit is equipped with optional twin MAN V12 – 1400 mHP engines, achieving a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. The standard model, with MAN V12 – 1200 mHP engines, reaches a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Thanks to its new high-efficiency hull, the yacht boasts a range of 1200 nautical miles at an economical cruising speed of 10 knots.
The INFYNITO 80 is a testament to Ferretti Yachts’ commitment to innovation, luxury, and sustainability, setting a new standard in the yachting industry.
