Friendly neighbourhood restaurant and bar Morty & Bob’s is celebrating the launch of their newest branch in Kensal Rise. Head down there this summer to enjoy their new outdoor terrace and fabulous dinner menu.
Loved by locals at the Coal Drops Yard location, Morty & Bob’s is a family run restaurant, cafe and bar. Great for swinging by for a coffee and a small plate in the afternoon and perfect for an intimate dinner in the evening Morty & Bob’s welcomes their newest branch in Kensal Rise. Enjoying the wooden farmhouse terrace, twinkling fairy lights and gorgeous plant foliage whilst eating delicious small plates and dinner items.
Dinner menu highlights include Whole Sea Bass, butterflied with preserved lemon vinaigrette. Or a tasty option to share: 28-day Aged Hereford, HG Walter T-Bone Steak for Two. Morty & Bob’s boasts a great selection of vegetarian options including Burrata, hazelnuts and truffled london honey and a Wild Mushroom Orzo.
A popular American inspired menu item is Charlies Chicken Parmigiana: Morty & Bob’s take on the American classic. Served with a 6 hour roast tomato marinara and melted mozzarella.
The Terrace also offers Morty and Bob’s full brunch and lunch menu for day time sunshine eats. Try brunch favourite the Everything Bagel, loaded with smoked salmon, chive cream cheese, onion, tomato and capers.
Lighter mains such as the Grain Bowl with roasted greens, beet houmous, avocado, cashew and chilli oil is the perfect light lunch option.
Carefully crafted cocktails are hand poured and served alongside local beers and ales from Camden Brewery.
Try a speciality coffee or a let a delectable tea take your fancy in this home away from home atmosphere. Cosy window corners that are perfect for people watching are situated within the warm coloured tones of the restaurant. The perfect backdrop for neighbourhood life and catching up with friends.
Morty & Bob’s is owned by Charlie Phillips, who is inspired by his two hardworking grandads. Initially starting as a street food stall in Netil Market in East London, Morty and Bob’s has toured festivals and run pop ups. Morty & Bob’s now boasts restaurants in Coal Drops Yard (Kings Cross) and Westfield Shepherds Bush alongside their newest branch in Kensal Rise.
