Peggy Porschen has become an institution in London. The award-winning cake designer, author and Creative Director leads a highly-skilled team of pastry chefs and sugar-craft artists, Peggy has won hearts and mouths all over the city with her pastel edible works of art.

Now, Peggy is spreading her wings and bringing her signature sweetness to one of our favourite haunts, The Lanesborough Hotel in London. In many ways this is hometown glory, Peggy held her first prestigious pastry chef position at The Lanesborough in 1999, fresh from graduating from Le Cordon Bleu.
Over 20-years-later she has returned with her pastry chef team in tow to collaborate with The Lanesborough’s celebrated Head Pastry Chef Kevin Miller.
Peggy’s exclusive Afternoon Tea Experience will be served under the iconic domed glass roof of the gloriously sun-soaked Michelin-starred Céleste restaurant at the heart of the hotel.
The tea is a celebration of Peggy Porschen’s signature creations, from afternoon tea stapes such as delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones crowned with a cloud of clotted cream and smeared with jam. There are bespoke afternoon tea blends of Peggy Porschen and The Lanesborough, which perfectly complement a slice of Peggy Porschen’s signature layer cakes of the day from a specially designed trolley.
